# Rentalcars Flexible Prices API Documentation

<p>Get a price calendar for an airport. Each entry has a pickup date, a dropoff date, a predicted price and the currency, for the rental length you choose. Only airports work here, so use a 3-letter IATA code. The date window can be at most 60 days. A code that is not an airport returns 200 with an empty prices array. This response is not billed. The market (cor) and the currency decide the prices. The response echoes both values in the market object. Scrappa is not affiliated with Rentalcars.com. This is an unofficial API.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `iata` | string | Yes | Airport code with 3 letters. Example: BER. |
| `start_date` | string | Yes | First pickup date in Y-m-d format. |
| `end_date` | string | Yes | Last pickup date in Y-m-d format. |
| `rental_days` | integer | No | Length of the rental, from 1 to 30 days. Default: 3. |
| `language` | string | No | Language code. Default: en. |
| `cor` | string | No | Country of residence as a 2-letter code. Default: gb. |
| `currency` | string | No | Currency code for prices. Default: EUR. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. No request is made upstream. Not billed. |
| 422 | Request Rejected | Rentalcars rejected the search values, for example a filter value that is not in available_filters. Not billed. |
| 503 | Rentalcars Temporarily Unavailable | Rentalcars did not answer in time. Retry after a short pause. Other 503 codes start with rentalcars_ too, for example rentalcars_invalid_response. Not billed. |
