# Rentals.ca Agency API Documentation

<p><strong>Rentals.ca Agency API</strong> returns the management company (name, website, logo) and the contact name of one listing. Rentals.ca has no separate agency page, so the data is read from the listing. <code>management_company</code> is <code>null</code> when the listing has none, which is common; the contact name is then the only agency data. Agent email and phone are never returned. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter, a range or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The path or id is not a rental listing. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Rentals.ca could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
