# SEEK Job Search API Documentation

<p><strong>SEEK Job Search API Documentation</strong> Search public SEEK job listings by keyword, location, classification and work type, for Australia (au) or New Zealand (nz). Each job has id, title, public url, teaser, bullet points, company name, advertiser, classifications, locations, work types, work arrangements, salary text when SEEK shows one, listing time (ISO 8601, UTC) and logo url. Page with page and limit; has_more is true while more jobs exist. SEEK returns at most 500 jobs per search, so narrow large searches by location or classification. A valid search with no matches is a successful response.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `country` | string | No | Market to search: au (Australia) or nz (New Zealand). Defaults to au. |
| `keywords` | string | No | Search words such as a job title. Example: nurse. |
| `location` | string | No | SEEK location name. Example: All Melbourne VIC. |
| `distance` | integer | No | Search radius in km around the location, 1 to 200. Only used together with location. |
| `classification` | string | No | Comma separated numeric SEEK classification ids. Example: 1211 (Healthcare & Medical). |
| `work_type` | string | No | Comma separated work type ids: 242 full time, 243 part time, 244 contract/temp, 245 casual. |
| `sort` | string | No | relevance (default) or date. |
| `days` | integer | No | Only jobs listed in the last 1 to 31 days. |
| `page` | integer | No | Page number starting at 1. SEEK returns at most 500 jobs per search, so page times limit must be 500 or less. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Jobs per page, 1 to 100. Defaults to 22. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | The upstream answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
