# SoundCloud Search

SoundCloud search across tracks, users, albums and non-album playlists. The type parameter selects the object kind; mixed searches everything at once.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | Yes | Search term (q is accepted as an alias). |
| `type` | string | No | Object kind: mixed, tracks, users, albums or playlists_without_albums. Defaults to mixed. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Maximum number of results. Defaults to 20. |
| `offset` | integer | No | Result offset for paging. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter is missing or a parameter failed validation. |
| 404 | SoundCloud Not Found | The requested SoundCloud object does not exist. |
| 503 | SoundCloud Upstream Unavailable | SoundCloud could not be reached within the full attempt budget. |
