# SpareRoom Areas

List the areas of one city, for example london or manchester. Each entry has the area name, the postcode district when SpareRoom shows one, and a public page URL. Use the name or the district as where in the search endpoint. A search reaches at most 1,000 ads, so search each district to cover a big city. Some cities list no district. An unknown city returns a 404 that is not billed.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.
