# Spitogatos Agent Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Spitogatos Agent Search API</strong> finds agencies by name, optionally inside one area, 25 per page. Each agency has its name, address, business phones, website, description and profile URL. Use the <code>id</code> with the agent routes. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | Yes | Part of the agency name, 2 to 100 characters. Example: tzeli. |
| `area_id` | integer | No | Only agencies in this area (default 1, all of Greece). |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number, 1 to 200 (default 1). 25 agencies per page. |
| `locale` | string | No | Language of area names: el (default) or en. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a range is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Spitogatos could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
