# Sprouts Product API Documentation

<p><strong>Sprouts Product API</strong> returns one product with price, regular and sale price, unit price, size, brand, UPC, category, images, stock, rating and diet badges. It adds the full nutrition panel (calories, fats, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, fiber, sugars, protein, daily value percentages and minerals), the ingredients, the warnings and the allergens when Sprouts lists them.</p><p>Send <code>id</code> exactly as search returns it (for example <code>items_17650-120137222</code>), or the product number, or the <code>url</code> of the product page. A product number or url needs a store from the list (<code>zip</code>: 85260, 90210, 77002, 30301, 80202) or no store (Scottsdale, AZ). For any other store send the full item id and its <code>store_id</code>.</p><p>Nutrition and ingredients are left out when Sprouts lists none. A product that is not sold in the store returns 404. Costs 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are free.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `id` | string | No | Item id from search, for example items_17650-120137222, or the product number, for example 120137222. Required if url is not sent. |
| `url` | string | No | Product page url, for example https://shop.sprouts.com/store/sprouts/products/120137222-grazeful-dairy-milk. Required if id is not sent. |
| `store_id` | string | No | Number of a Sprouts shop, 3 to 9 digits, for example 393864. Prices and stock follow the shop. It wins over zip. Default is shop 393864 (Scottsdale, AZ). |
| `zip` | string | No | One of the supported ZIP codes: 85260, 90210, 77002, 30301, 80202. It selects the shop that serves this ZIP code. Other ZIP codes return 422: use store_id. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The product is not sold in this store. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Sprouts could not be reached after several tries. This response is not billable. Retry shortly. |
