# Sprouts Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Sprouts Search API</strong> searches products at Sprouts Farmers Market. Each item has the current price, the regular price, the sale price when the item is on sale, the unit price (for example $0.06/oz), size, brand, UPC, category, image, stock, rating, diet badges and a nutrition summary.</p><p>Prices and stock depend on the store. Pass <code>store_id</code> (exact) or <code>zip</code> (one of 85260, 90210, 77002, 30301, 80202). Without both, the API uses shop 393864 (Scottsdale, AZ). A ZIP code outside the list returns 422: use <code>store_id</code>. A store id that does not exist returns 422 as well.</p><p>Results keep the ranking of the Sprouts site. <code>total_results</code> counts every hit of the query (up to a few hundred). A page past the end is an empty list with the total. Costs 1 credit per successful request. Empty results and failed requests are free.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | Yes | Search text, 1 to 120 characters, for example milk. |
| `store_id` | string | No | Number of a Sprouts shop, 3 to 9 digits, for example 393864. Prices and stock follow the shop. It wins over zip. Default is shop 393864 (Scottsdale, AZ). |
| `zip` | string | No | One of the supported ZIP codes: 85260, 90210, 77002, 30301, 80202. It selects the shop that serves this ZIP code. Other ZIP codes return 422: use store_id. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number, 1 to 500 (default 1). |
| `per_page` | integer | No | Results per page, 1 to 40 (default 20). |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Sprouts could not be reached after several tries. This response is not billable. Retry shortly. |
