# Steam Community Profile API Documentation

Retrieve a public Steam community profile by vanity name or SteamID64: persona name, privacy state, avatar, level, games count, groups and more. Friends-only profiles return limited but valid data. Private or unknown profiles return a 404.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `identifier` | string | Yes | Steam vanity name (e.g. robinwalker) or 17-digit SteamID64. |
| `include_html` | boolean | No | Include level and count data from the SSR HTML (vanity names only). Defaults to false. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | The requested Steam profile was not found or is private. This response is not billable. |
