# Steam Store Search API Documentation

Search the Steam store by keyword and retrieve up to 10 matching items with name, type, price, metascore and platform support. A valid empty result (no matches) is a successful, billable response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `term` | string | Yes | The store search keyword. Example: portal. |
| `l` | string | No | Steam language code. Defaults to english. |
| `cc` | string | No | 2-letter country code for pricing currency. Defaults to US. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The term parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
