# Tripadvisor Reviews

Retrieve one page of public reviews for a Tripadvisor location, newest first: title, plain text, rating (1 to 5), published date, month of the stay, helpful votes, language, reviewer display name, sub-ratings, photos and the owner response when one exists. The location block carries the rating, review count, the 1 to 5 star breakdown and the review count per language. Page with offset and limit (1 to 20); has_more and next_offset tell when to stop. Filter by language to get reviews in one language only. Unknown location IDs answer 404 and are not billed.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `offset` | integer | No | Reviews to skip. Use next_offset from the previous response. Default: 0 |
| `limit` | integer | No | Reviews per page, 1 to 20. Default: 20 |
| `language` | string | No | Only reviews written in this language (e.g. en, de, es). Default: all languages |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Location Not Found | The Tripadvisor location does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | Tripadvisor answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
