# Trivago Hotel Reviews API Documentation

<p><strong>Trivago Hotel Reviews API Documentation</strong> Get the guest reviews of one hotel: for each review the id, rating from 0 to 10, title, text, source booking site, travel date and review date. The response also carries the rating split in percent, the language mix, a written summary by topic and the rating per review theme. Reviewer names are never returned. Pages hold up to 50 reviews; has_more and next_offset drive pagination. Use language to read reviews in one language.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `hotel_id` | integer | Yes | Trivago hotel id from the suggest or search endpoint. Example: 5568. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Reviews per page, 1 to 50. Defaults to 20. |
| `offset` | integer | No | Number of reviews to skip. Use next_offset of the previous page. Defaults to 0. |
| `language` | string | No | Review language code, for example en, de or pt-BR. Defaults to the language of the market. |
| `market` | string | No | Trivago country site: us, de, uk, fr, es, it or nl. Sets language, currency and prices. Defaults to us. |

## Errors

| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Resource Not Found | The hotel id is unknown. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | Trivago could not be reached or answered with an unexpected shape. This response is not billable. |
