# Walmart Search Autocomplete

Search suggestions for a partial query, optionally scoped to a department id, with suggestion text, image and search URL plus department refinements. An unknown term returns an empty list as a successful answer. Costs 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are free.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `department` | string | No | Department (category) id to scope the suggestions, e.g. 3944 for Electronics. Default: all. |
