# XING Jobs Search API Documentation

Search public XING job ads by keyword and location (Germany, Austria and Switzerland, e.g. Berlin, Wien, Zürich) with filters for employment type, full remote, yearly salary range and posting age. Each job has an id, slug, url, title, company name, company id and company page slug (when the employer has a company page), city, employment type label, remote options, salary range or estimate (when published), refresh date and expiry date (ISO 8601, UTC). Pages hold 20 jobs; has_more is true while a full page came back. The id works in the Job Detail endpoint and the company_slug in the Company endpoint. A valid empty search is a successful response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | No | Search keywords, e.g. developer. Required unless location is set. Max 200 characters. |
| `location` | string | No | City or region, e.g. Berlin, Wien or Zürich. Required unless query is set. Max 100 characters. |
| `employment_type` | string | No | One of full_time, part_time, contractor, intern, seasonal, temporary, voluntary. |
| `remote` | string | No | Set to full_remote to return only fully remote jobs. |
| `salary_min` | integer | No | Minimum yearly salary in EUR, whole number of 1 or more. |
| `salary_max` | integer | No | Maximum yearly salary in EUR, whole number. Must be greater than or equal to salary_min. |
| `since` | string | No | Posting age: 24h, week or month. |
| `page` | integer | No | Page number, 1 to 50. Defaults to 1. Each page holds 20 jobs. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. No upstream call is made. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | The upstream answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
