# Zara Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Zara Search API</strong> returns 24 products per page for a keyword, or for a whole category when you send <code>category_id</code>. Send either <code>query</code> or <code>category_id</code>. Get category ids from <code>/api/zara/categories</code>. Each item has <code>seo_product_id</code> (send it as <code>id</code> to the product route), <code>color_product_id</code> (the id of the listed colour; the product route does not accept it), section, family, url, availability, price, <code>original_price</code>, <code>sale_price</code> and <code>discount_percent</code> (only when the sale price is below the original price), colours with swatch colour and image, and images. Prices are numbers with an ISO currency.</p><p>The <code>section</code> is honoured: a keyword search returns only products of that section (default WOMAN), and a section sent with a category filters it. A page past the last page is rejected with 422, never answered with other data. A category lists one row per product: the colours of a product sit in <code>colors</code>. The Spanish site has no HOME section, so section HOME with country es returns 422. A keyword without a match returns an empty list. Countries: us, de, es, fr, uk. English text. A successful request costs 1 credit.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `query` | string | No | Search keyword. Required unless category_id is sent. |
| `category_id` | string | No | Numeric Zara category id from /api/zara/categories, for example 2432130 (men jeans in the US). Required unless query is sent. |
| `section` | string | No | WOMAN (default for a keyword search), MAN, KID or HOME. With a category it filters the list only when sent. HOME does not exist for country es (422). |
| `country` | string | No | Country: us (default), de, es, fr or uk. Prices use the currency of the country. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number, 1 to 100 (default 1). A page past the last page is rejected. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | The category does not exist in the chosen country. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid, or a filter cannot be honoured. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Zara could not be reached, or it returned data that does not match the request (another section, another page, a block page). This response is not billable and is retryable. |
