# ZipRecruiter Job Details API Documentation

<p><strong>ZipRecruiter Job Details</strong> returns one job: the full description as text and HTML, employment types, industry, category, skills, experience in months, education, pay, posting and expiry dates, reference number, the street address, the apply address, the company profile (size, headquarters, founded year, website, logo, social links) and the Breakroom rating when ZipRecruiter shows one. Send <code>id</code> (the <code>job_id</code> from the search endpoint) or the job page <code>url</code>. Jobs from the Canadian search work with <code>country=ca</code>; the answer is checked to be a Canadian job, otherwise it returns 404. For <code>country=uk</code> send the numeric job id; the answer adds map coordinates and the direct apply flag.</p><p>A job that has expired returns 404. A request costs 1 credit. A failed request is not charged.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `id` | string | No | The job_id from the search endpoint (16 characters). For country=uk the numeric id. |
| `url` | string | No | A ZipRecruiter job page address from the search endpoint. Use it instead of id. |
| `country` | string | No | us (default), ca or uk. Use ca for a job from a Canadian search. The job must be in the chosen country. |

| 404 | Not Found | The job has expired or does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Invalid Request | A parameter is missing or has the wrong format. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | ZipRecruiter could not be reached, or the page did not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
