# ZipRecruiter Job Search API Documentation

ZipRecruiter Job Search returns up to 20 jobs per page for the US, Canada (country=ca) and the UK (country=uk). For Canada the company has a name and logo but no slug or address, because company profiles cover US-hosted employers. Each job has the title, company, location parts, pay (minimum, maximum, interval, yearly value, estimate flag), employment types, location types, benefits, posting time, the job page address, the apply address and Breakroom highlights. The first job of a page also carries its full description; the other jobs carry the text ZipRecruiter shows in the list (description_is_full tells which). Use job_id with the Job Details endpoint for the full text of every job.

Every filter is checked against the page before the answer is sent. A filter the site ignores makes the request fail instead of returning wrong jobs. Page N is never filled with page 1. A page after the last one returns 422. ZipRecruiter shows no jobs beyond page 3, so one search reaches 60 jobs. Use filters to reach other jobs. The UK site is small and supports only query, location and page. A request costs 1 credit. A failed request is not charged.
