# ZoomInfo Industries API Documentation

<p><strong>ZoomInfo Industries API</strong> lists the industries and sub-industries of the ZoomInfo directory with their slugs. Pass a slug as <code>industry</code> to the Companies API or the Top Lists API.</p><p>The list is the same for every request and is refreshed once a day. A few slugs differ from the common name: use <code>health-services</code> for health care.</p><p>Each request is one lookup and one credit. Failed requests are never billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | ZoomInfo could not be reached or returned a page that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
