# ZoomInfo Top Lists API Documentation

<p><strong>ZoomInfo Top Lists API</strong> returns a public ZoomInfo top company list for an industry, a country, or both. Each list holds the top companies with description, website, phone, founding year, stock symbol, headquarters, industries, employee count and revenue.</p><p>The response also has the list title, similar lists with their companies, and the FAQs of the page as plain text.</p><p>Use an industry slug from the Industries API and a two-letter country code (<code>US</code>, <code>DE</code>, <code>GB</code>) from the Locations API. The list matches the request: the response is never the list of another industry or country.</p><p><strong>Coverage:</strong> only public list data is returned. Company profiles, executives, people and search are not covered.</p><p>Each list is one lookup and one credit. Failed requests are never billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Invalid Filter | ZoomInfo does not know the industry or country. Read the valid values from the industries and locations endpoints. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or has an invalid value. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | ZoomInfo could not be reached or returned a page that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
