Structured data for real applications. Here are some ideas.
Track rating averages, rating counts, per-star histograms, versions, and content ratings for your apps and competitor apps in every storefront you target.
Page through user reviews with title, author, star rating, text, and date, up to 50 per page, for sentiment analysis and product feedback loops.
Pull top free, paid, and grossing charts with positions per country every day, plus most-played albums and top podcasts.
Look up a developer profile and every app it publishes in a storefront, with price, version, size, rating, and content rating.
Build catalogs for books, audiobooks, films, series, music albums, and podcasts with offers, cast, seasons, episodes, and podcast feed URLs.
App Store scraper API
The Apple App Store API is built for ASO tools, review analytics, market research, and media catalogs that need Apple storefront data without maintaining their own scrapers. One API covers eight store verticals: iPhone and iPad apps, Mac apps, books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music albums, and podcasts. Search by keyword, pull ranked charts, look up a developer catalog, fetch product details with ratings and privacy nutrition labels, and page through user reviews, all as structured JSON for any two-letter Apple storefront country.
App products include the rating average, rating count, per-star histogram, total review count, privacy nutrition labels, and the first page of reviews.
Reviews paginate up to 50 per page with next_page_token and a clear end_of_history flag.
Charts return ranked items with position, id, title, artist, and url, up to 100 per request.
Search returns up to 200 results with id, title, artist_id, price, rating, rating_count, version, content rating, and file size.
Movie and TV products include offers, cast, seasons, episodes, and Rotten Tomatoes critic scores, and podcasts include the feed URL and latest episodes.
Every response echoes the effective request in search_parameters, including defaults you did not send.
Test the App Store scraper API with 500 free monthly credits before scaling production traffic.
Search any store vertical by keyword, or pull top free, paid, and grossing charts for a storefront. Use the returned id as product_id for product and review endpoints, and artist_id for the developer endpoint.
Open App Store Search docsRequest pages of up to 50 reviews with num and follow reviews_pagination.next_page_token until end_of_history is true. Reviews are storefront specific, so set country for each market you track.

An App Store scraper API returns public Apple storefront data as structured JSON instead of requiring you to run your own scraper. Scrappa covers app details, ratings, reviews, top charts, and developer catalogs, plus books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music albums, and podcasts.
It is the number after id in the Apple store URL, for example 284882215 in https://apps.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215. You can also take id from search or chart results.
Request pages of up to 50 with num=50 and follow reviews_pagination.next_page_token until end_of_history is true. Each page is one request.
Products are storefront specific. An app that exists in Germany may not exist in the US storefront. Pass the right country, for example country=de.
/details and /product serve every vertical through the store parameter. The store-specific paths such as /books/product set store for you. The data is the same.
Apple has no user reviews for movies and TV, so the review endpoint returns Rotten Tomatoes critic data for them instead. Apple does not publish ratings or reviews for music, so music returns an empty list with a note.
No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. You only need a Scrappa API key, sent as the X-API-KEY header, and no Apple developer account.
Yes. Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits per month, so you can test App Store lookups, charts, and reviews before buying credit packs. Paid usage costs as little as $0.20 per 1,000 requests.
