Autohero API for used car search, prices, specs, and damages

The Autohero API is built for automotive analytics, price monitoring, and car search features. Each car includes brand, model, variant, price with currency, mileage, first registration, power, engine size, CO2, accident and damage counts, images and a public Autohero url. The detail endpoint adds equipment by category, documented damages with photos and the branch location.

Search eight markets with brand, model, price, mileage and registration year filters.

Sort by price, mileage, brand or newest and page with offset and limit up to 100.

Open any car for specs, German equipment labels, damages with photos and image urls.

Prices are numeric major-unit amounts with currency, mileage is an integer with unit.

Failed requests are never charged, and a valid empty search is a successful response.

Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit, which works out to $0.20 to $0.30 per 1,000 requests depending on the credit pack or plan. Failed requests are never charged.

Use offset and limit with a limit up to 100. The response returns total, has_more and next_offset. The upstream search shows at most 10000 results per query. A valid empty result is a successful response.

Yes. Use the spelling Autohero shows, for example BMW, Volkswagen or Honda. A brand that does not match returns an empty cars list.
