Each listing includes the listing ID, VIN, price in USD, mileage in miles, model year, make, model, trim, body style, fuel, transmission, drivetrain, colours, dealer name, stock number, certified-preowned flag, the Cars.com price badge, the predicted price, and the listing date. Detail responses add the full spec list, the equipment list, the price and deal gauge, the history and condition tiles, consumer model reviews, and gallery images.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cars.com. The Cars.com API returns structured JSON from current public car listings and dealer data through a Scrappa API key.
Call the taxonomy endpoint for the filter groups, then pass make and model slugs such as toyota and toyota-camry to the search endpoint. The facets endpoint returns the available make and model values with listing counts.
Pass a US ZIP code as zip and a search radius as radius_miles, for example zip=10001 and radius_miles=50. Every listing carries its own ZIP code in location_zip.
Pass the listing_id to the dealer endpoint. It returns the dealer name, rating, address, website, and gallery for that listing.
Up to 100 listings per page with page and page_size. Use the has_more flag and total_pages in metadata to page through larger result sets. Totals are live snapshots and can change between requests.
Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit, which works out to $0.20 to $0.30 per 1,000 requests depending on the credit pack or plan. Requests that return no usable data are never charged.
