Hemnet API

Swedish Property Listings, Sold Prices and Brokers via REST API

Search Hemnet property listings, sold prices, listing details, broker (maklare) pages and location autocomplete through one structured API. Hemnet is Sweden's dominant property portal with no public API; Scrappa provides programmatic access to till salu, kommande and slutpriser.

What you can build

Structured data for real applications. Here are some ideas.

Swedish Market Monitoring

Track asking prices, sold prices and listing supply per municipality from one repeatable feed built on till salu, kommande and slutpriser.

Broker Performance Analysis

Use the broker and agency pages with their server-computed statistics to compare sold volume, sale time and achieved square-meter prices across maklare.

Comparable Valuation

Combine listing details, price history, similar properties and BRF fees to build automated valuation models for Swedish housing.

Cross-Border Nordic Search

Compare Swedish Hemnet supply with Immowelt, Immobilienscout24 and other European portals to build complete Nordic market coverage.

Frequently asked questions

No. Hemnet exposes no public or partner API for property search, so anyone needing Swedish listing data has to scrape the app. Scrappa wraps the same GraphQL API the Hemnet Android app uses and serves it as a documented REST endpoint.

Homes and apartments for sale (till salu), announced listings (kommande), and sold properties with the achieved price (slutpriser). On top of that: full listing detail, price history, sale timelines, BRF association financials, comparable properties, new-construction project units, gallery and floorplan images, map cards, and broker (maklare) and agency pages with server-computed statistics.

No. Every endpoint is anonymous and public. There is no login, no session, no device registration and no API key to obtain from Hemnet.

Hemnet uses two different id spaces: for-sale listing ids are plain numbers such as 21889893, while sold properties use 64-bit ids such as 9204633252222697783. Keep both as strings — an integer cast truncates the sold ones.

Exactly one upstream lookup. When you need several data sets — a listing detail and its sold history, for example — call the matching endpoints separately so you are only charged for what you use.

The upstream accepts offset + limit up to 2500, and each family has its own lower ceiling. Going past the window returns an empty result rather than an error, so Scrappa rejects an over-wide window with a 422 before spending a request. For very large markets, split by municipality instead of paging deeply.

Yes. Every Scrappa account gets free monthly credits with no credit card required, enough to test all 21 Hemnet endpoints before committing a budget.
