Channel Profile
/api/kick/v1/channels/{slug}
Get a channel profile with follower count and live status in one lookup
Scrappa's Kick API returns structured JSON from kick.com, the live streaming platform. Read any channel profile with its live status in one call, page through clips and VOD history, open a clip or VOD for full detail, walk the category taxonomy, browse the platform-wide live feed with viewer counts, and search channels, livestreams, and categories. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kick.

Structured data for real applications. Here are some ideas.
Poll channel profiles to read live or offline state, session title, and viewer counts from a single lookup.
Follow channel and platform clip feeds with views, likes, durations, and playback URLs to spot what clips out.
Page a channel's VOD history with view counts, durations, categories, and tags for catalogue and growth analysis.
Combine the platform live feed, top categories with viewer counts, and trending tags to see what audiences are watching.
Read the hourly gifted-subs leaderboard to rank channels over a window you choose by shifting start_time.
kick.com scraper API
The Kick API is built for stream analytics, clip monitoring, and creator dashboards. Every endpoint performs exactly one upstream lookup, so a channel profile already carries live status, recent categories, and the playback URL without extra calls. Responses keep the full upstream payload and normalize only the two fields Kick types inconsistently: follower counts and verified flags.
Read a channel profile, its follower count, and its live status in one request.
Page clips with the opaque cursor Kick returns; the page size is fixed at 20 upstream and no page-size control is exposed.
Page VOD history five at a time, or request the full unpaginated history for channels with long archives.
Open a VOD by the UUID from the VOD list; the numeric VOD id is rejected upstream.
Browse the platform live feed with viewer counts, filter by language or subcategory, and read top categories with live viewer counts.
Rank channels by gifted subscriptions over any window by shifting start_time.
Poll the channel endpoint for each channel you follow. The embedded livestream carries viewer count, session title, start time, categories, and tags, and is null while the channel is offline. No second request is needed and no lookup is stacked behind a billable call.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kick. Kick's own developer API requires OAuth credentials; this API returns public Kick page data through a Scrappa API key instead.
The channel endpoint embeds the livestream, and the livestream endpoint returns it on its own. An offline channel returns livestream: null and is_live: false. A playback URL is not a live indicator: Kick can return one for a channel whose livestream is null.
Kick fixes clip pages at 20 items and ignores a page-size parameter upstream. Exposing one would return twenty items regardless, so the API pages with the cursor Kick returns instead. VOD pages are fixed at five in the same way, with a limit that only applies to the unpaginated fallback.
The VOD UUID from the channel videos response, not the numeric VOD id. Kick answers the numeric id with an invalid-identifier error, and the API rejects that form before spending an upstream call.
No. Kick returns a bounded set of channels, livestreams, and categories per query, so the pagination block reports the returned count and has_more false rather than pretending a cursor exists. An empty query is rejected with a 422 before any upstream request.
It is not. A successful lookup is billed once; unknown slugs, invalid parameters, upstream blocks, and transport failures are returned as errors and never charged.
Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit, which works out to $0.20 to $0.30 per 1,000 requests depending on the credit pack or plan.
