Google Maps shows different results in different parts of a city. The Local Rank Tracker API runs one Maps search at each point of a grid around your centre point and returns the rank of your business at each point, the top competitors and the summary metrics that local SEO tools show.

Name the business by place_id, data_id, cid or business name.

Choose a grid from 3x3 to 9x9 and a spacing from 0.25 to 3 km, or in miles.

Read rank 1 to 20 at each point, or not found.

Get average rank, average total rank, share of local voice and found rate.

See the top competitors per point with rating, reviews, category and address.

Failed points are marked and never charged.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. The API returns structured JSON from public Google Maps results through a Scrappa API key.

One credit per searched grid point, found or not found. A 3x3 grid costs up to 9 credits and a 9x9 grid up to 81. Failed points and failed requests are never charged.

By place_id first, then data_id, then cid. A business name is the last choice and is flagged as a name match. Send an identifier when you have one.

Google Maps changes the order of lower places slightly between searches. Ranks 1 to 3 are stable. Use the averages over the grid for trends.

The United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and France (gl us, de, gb, fr). Another country answers 422.
