The Rentalia API is Scrappa's REST API for holiday homes listed on Rentalia. It returns house details with rental units, seasonal rates, and location data, destination suggestions for a place name, and stay price quotes for a rental unit as structured JSON.
No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rentalia. You only need a Scrappa API key to use the three endpoints on this page.
No. Rentalia discontinued its search API, so this API covers house details, destination suggestions, and price quotes. To get a house, use its Rentalia id, which is the number at the end of a Rentalia listing URL.
A house, for example 978257, can contain one or more bookable units. The price endpoint expects a unit id from data.rental_units[].id, for example 1180102.
Use lang to request localized text. The default is es. The data.descriptions.langs field lists the languages in which the owner wrote descriptions.
Fields depend on what the owner has filled in on Rentalia, so optional values such as web or price.offer can be empty or null.
Yes. Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits per month, so you can test the Rentalia endpoints before buying credit packs or moving to a subscription.
Each request uses one Scrappa credit, and paid usage starts at $0.20 per 1,000 requests. Failed requests are not billed.
