Scrappa targets developers who need a Truth Social API, a truthsocial scraper, or public post data. The endpoints cover profiles, an account's truths, single-truth detail, live shows with broadcast windows, the featured truth, video renditions and hashtag timelines. All traffic is public read-tier data: no login, no messaging, no private account data and no write paths.

One profile lookup returns the complete account, including followers, following and status counters, so you are never charged for an enrichment call.

Truths keep the platform's own upvotes_count and downvotes_count alongside title, quote, signature and media attachments.

Pagination returns the upstream's own max_id cursor, extracted from the Link header it sent; cursors are never reconstructed, so pages cannot silently skip or repeat.

Video rendition resolution is its own endpoint rather than a hidden second call, so billing always matches the work performed.

Search, threads, follower graphs, trends and feeds are gated upstream and require end-user credentials, so they are not offered here. Competitors expose search by copying a user token out of devtools; that is not a product we will build. Sell profile, posts, detail, live shows and video instead.

The hashtag timeline usually comes back empty

The tag timeline route answers but has been observed to return an empty array on every attempt. Treat an empty result as the expected outcome rather than a bug or a working discovery surface.

No. Every endpoint reads public data only. You need a Scrappa API key and nothing else — no Truth Social login, no OAuth app, no end-user credentials and no cookies.

Search, follower graphs, threads, trends and feed discovery are gated behind an authenticated session on the platform itself. Reaching them would require your customers' credentials, which we will not do. Profile, post list, post detail, live shows, featured truth and video are all available today.

The hashtag route answers successfully but returns no items. Across four rounds of measurement and five popular tags it was always empty, so this is a property of the upstream rather than a bug in your integration. Treat an empty result as the expected outcome.

One profile lookup returns the complete account, including followers, following and status counters, so it costs exactly one request. There is no hidden enrichment call.

No. A failure on our side, a regional block or a rate limit against us is never billed. A definitive 404 performs one lookup and is recorded as a usage row, and the shared billing helper only charges successful responses, so a not-found costs you nothing either.
