Copart API for salvage auction lots, bids, and photos

The Copart API is built for vehicle sourcing, auction analytics and salvage resale tools. Each lot includes the lot number, year, make and model, masked VIN, damage, title, condition, odometer with unit, current bid with currency, auction date in ISO 8601 UTC, yard location and the public lot url. Lots in the US and Canada are included, so each lot carries its own currency and odometer unit.

Search lots with free text, make, model, year range, damage code, title group, yard, odometer limit and buy it now filters.

Page with page and per_page up to 100 lots, with total, has_more and next_page in every response.

Read the live filter groups with lot counts to build filter menus.

Open any lot for its full data and fetch its photos as https links.

The VIN is masked by Copart for logged-out visitors and is returned masked. Bidding and member data are never returned.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Copart. The Copart API returns structured JSON from public lot data through a Scrappa API key.

Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit, which works out to $0.20 to $0.30 per 1,000 requests depending on the credit pack or plan. Failed requests are never charged.

Use the 1-based page parameter with per_page up to 100. The response returns total, has_more and next_page. A search without hits is a successful response with an empty lots array.

No. Copart masks the VIN and hides sold prices from logged-out visitors, so the API returns the masked VIN and the current bid only.

No. An unknown or expired lot number answers a non-billable 404 with error code NOT_FOUND. Only successful 2xx responses are billed.
