IAA API for salvage auction vehicles, damage, and auction dates

The IAA API is built for vehicle sourcing, salvage analytics and auction monitoring. Each search result carries the id, stock number, year, make, model, title document, primary and secondary damage, odometer with unit and status, start code, airbags, engine, fuel, drive, body style, color, branch, ACV in USD, the auction date in ISO 8601 UTC, lane, aisle and a thumbnail. The detail endpoint adds the title brand and state, estimated repair cost, branch address with coordinates and the full image list.

Search by free text, make, model, year or year range, odometer range and primary damage.

Sort by auction date, year, odometer or branch and page with 25 or 100 vehicles per page.

Read the auction date as ISO 8601 UTC and the actual cash value as a USD integer.

Open any vehicle for the title document, odometer status, repair estimate and image urls.

Seller identity, bids and buyer-only data are never returned.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IAA. The IAA API returns structured JSON from the public vehicle inventory through a Scrappa API key.

Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each successful request costs one credit. Failed requests are never charged.

Use the 1-based page parameter with per_page set to 25 or 100. The response returns page, per_page, total and total_pages. A page past the end returns an empty results list.

Sold prices, full VINs, seller identity, bids and watchlists need a buyer login at IAA and are never returned.
