Frequently asked questions

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Trade Me. The Trade Me Property API returns structured JSON from public listing data through a Scrappa API key.

Call the localities endpoint. It returns every region with its districts and suburbs and their numeric ids, which you pass as region, district and suburb to the search endpoints.

Use the 1-based page parameter with rows up to 100. The response returns total_count, page, page_size and has_more. A valid empty result is a successful response and is billed as success.

No. An unknown or expired listing id answers a non-billable 404 with error code NOT_FOUND. Only successful 2xx responses are billed.
