The Flickr API is built for photo discovery, photographer research and community monitoring. Search returns id, owner, title, description, tags, views, dates, license, media type, the photopage URL and a thumbnail per result. Photo detail adds the full owner block, comment count, tags with machine-flag, public geo and every image size with width, height and direct source URLs.

Search public photos by free text with relevance, date-posted and interestingness sorting.

Filter by tags, user NSID, group NSID, license, safe search and content type.

Open any photo for title, description in HTML and plain text, views, faves, comments and every image size.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Flickr. The Flickr API returns structured JSON from public Flickr data through a Scrappa API key.

Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit, which works out to $0.20 to $0.30 per 1,000 requests depending on the credit pack or plan. Failed requests are never charged.

Search, user photos and group pool pages are 1-based with per_page up to 500. The response returns page, pages, per_page and total, and has_more is true while more pages exist, capped at the upstream 4000-result limit. A valid empty result is a successful response.

Owner real name and location are omitted when unset, photo geo location is omitted when not public, and group description can be empty. Valid empty results and zero-view photos are successful responses, not errors.
