One search reaches at most 1,000 ads, so use the areas endpoint to split a big city into districts.

No. Scrappa is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SpareRoom. The API returns structured JSON from public room and flatshare ads through a Scrappa API key.

SpareRoom serves at most 1,000 ads for one search. The response sets truncated to true when more ads match. Use the areas endpoint and search each district to cover a big city.

The search returns type ambiguous_place with a list of options and no ads. Repeat the search with one option as where. This answer is not billed.

SpareRoom matches rent per ad. Scrappa then keeps only the rooms inside your band and compares weekly and monthly prices on the period you choose. The ad total is withheld in that case, because it no longer describes the rows.

Every Scrappa account includes 500 free credits each month. After that, each request costs one credit. Requests that return no usable data are never charged.
