G2 Alternatives API returns the top 10 alternatives of one product. Each alternative has the position, slug, name, URL, image, rating, review count, vendor, description, the price range (price_low, price_high, price_currency), the phrases reviewers use to compare it with your product (compared_to, for example More expensive) and the categories both products share.
Sponsored placements are never returned. An alternative without a price range returns null for the three price fields. One request makes one lookup and costs one credit. An unknown slug returns 404 and is not billed.
